Past Champions

CrossroadsThe 2008 Silver Medalist quartet, Crossroads, took the gold this year and were crowned champions during the Barbershop Harmony Society’s International Quartet Contest at the Honda Center. Three rounds of intense quartet competitions took place during the Society’s 71st Annual International Convention.Crossroads’ members hail from all over the United States – Missouri, Florida, Tennessee, and Michigan. Together, Fred Farrell (tenor), Mike Slamka (lead), Brandon Guyton (baritone), and Jim Henry (bass) not only beautifully master the barbershop style, but they also entertain audiences with a wide variety of musical styles ranging from vocal jazz, blues, gospel, standards from the Great American Songbook, and pop classics.
