Harmony University 2009 a Huge Success

"As a long time Sweet Adeline master director, judge and a member of their international faculty and a new BHS director, I truly looked forward to my very first Harmony University. I wasn't sure how I would feel about going back to square one as a new director, but I'm always up for more information about our art form. Well...I can't begin to tell you how much it surpassed even my optimistic expectations. I loved every minute of the week - even the struggles with Music Theory III - and I can't wait to come back next year."

I learned so much in the Director’s College that I am able to apply immediately as an Assistant Director in my chorus. Being on the cusp of being an old codger, I am greatly encouraged by the number of young people who are obviously excited about barbershop harmony and developing into skilled singers and directors. As long as those folks are looking to our society for music and training, it will be alive and well.

Since Harmony U I now hear music with ‘new ears!
