AISQC to Provide Two Scholarships for Youth Directors The Association of International Senior Quartet Champions (ASIQC) is offering two full-tuition scholarships for talented directors to attend Harmony University. The AISQC has given one scholarship for the last three years, and according to Glenn Siebert of Over Easy, AISQC VP of Public Relations, "it has not been without notice that theYouth Chorus Contest has become such a major attraction at the Midwinter Convention. We are as excited as everyone else, and want to be a bigger part of that continuing effort. Our primary thrust is to award these scholarships to directors or potential directors of youth choruses." While the AISQC supports the BHS Director Certification program, certification is not a requirement for awarding of the scholarships. Interested parties should email John Fynmore as soon as possible, as applications must be received by March 31 to be considered. |
