The Pride of Mobile Barbershop Chorus is seeking a new front line director. Jan Prouty has decided to retire, with our heartfelt thanks and gratitude for her dedicated service. The Pride of Mobile chorus has been singing and entertaining for over 50 years in the metropolitan Mobile, Alabama Gulf Coast area and has over 25 active members and two organized quartets. We meet on Monday evenings throughout the year, produce an annual show, and perform in 8 - 10 additional sing-outs each year. We are seeking a Director that is looking for a fun and challenging position in growing with us to becoming a competition level chorus. Training and education opportunities for the new director include the Barbershop Society's Director’s College, regional Chorus Director's Workshop Intensive, local coaching, and many other resources.
