Raise the Roof wins Seniors Quartet Championship
Pure, classic harmony carried the day for Raise the Roof in the 2024 International Seniors Quartet Championship in New York City at the Barbershop Harmony Society Midwinter Convention.
Singing "If There'd Never Been An Ireland" and "Once Upon A Time," the champs edged past Vintage Blend by a scant 4 points in a high-quality contest of near A-level singing.
Baritone Tom Rouse notched his third seniors championship, having previously won with Rusty Pipes (2012) and Hearsay (2020.)
