The Marin Golden Gate Barbershop Chorus added a soothing note to Tuesday's Board of Supervisors' meeting. Harmonizing on a song about love, the group wowed the county board and an appreciative audience, then pitched its annual show set for 2 p.m. Nov. 3 at Marin Center. Supervisor Katie Rice called it a "nice way to start a meeting," and Supervisor Susan Adams said the county board "should start all our meetings with music." The performance recalled jazz musician Richard Howell's melodic chant, "There's still a lot of love here in Marin," that began a session on housing policy last month. via Barbershop chorus serenades supervisors - Marin Independent Journal.
