An important part of our outreach efforts is connecting the needs of music educators to the quality resources offered through the Barbershop Harmony Society. We publish great barbershop arrangemtns, true. We hold a great college contest, true. But how do these relate to the needs of a busy working choral director?
We like to think that our ad in the upcoming November issue of ACDA's Choral Journal answers those questions.
"Barbershop harmony is fun to sing and a great way to encourage young singers to try state solo & ensemble contest. Now you can build on that excitement by introducing them to the Collegiate Barbershop Quartet Contest."
And yes, that is Yonge Guns of Toronto prominently featured. We just couldn't resist love the energy, the swagger, and yes, the hair.
