Registration

When does early bird registration end for the 2025 Midwinter Convention?

Early bird registration ends on December 15, 2024. Prices will increase by $50 starting on December 16, 2024.

How much will prices increase after the early bird deadline?

Registration prices will increase by $50 after December 15, 2024.

Will day passes be available for the convention?

Day passes are not guaranteed and will be decided upon approximately 30 days before the event.

Is my registration refundable?

No, all convention registrations are non-refundable. However, they can be transferred to another person at any time without additional fees.

What happens if I need to transfer my registration to someone else?

You can transfer your registration to another person at any time without additional fees.
NOTE: You can only transfer a registration to someone who qualifies for that registration. For example: VIP registrations can only be transferred to other VIPs. Youth registrations can only be transferred to other Youth-Qualifying members, etc.

Can I sell my registration to someone else?

Yes, you can sell a registration to someone else. After you have received the payment, you will need to log into your Eventbrite account and edit the seat holder to the name of the individual whom you have sold it to.

NOTE: You can only transfer/sell a registration to someone who qualifies for that registration. For example: VIP registrations can only be transferred/sold to other VIPs. Youth registrations can only be transferred/sold to other Youth-Qualifying members, etc.


What are the registration options available?

You can choose between Regular Seating, Premium Seating, and VIP Premium Seating.


Can I choose my own seat during registration?

Regular and Premium Seating options allow you to select your own seat, VIP Premium Seating will have seats assigned for them before the event.

Are there any discounts available for children?

Yes, children 12 and under can attend for free, but they must be registered. Youth 25 and under are eligible for a discount as well.

Who is eligible for VIP Premium Seating?

VIP Premium seating is available to BHS District Presidents, BHS Board Members, BHS Chapter Presidents, BHS Hall of Fame, Association of International Champion members, Association of International Seniors Quartet Champions members, and President's Council Donors through Harmony Foundation International.

Seating & Accessibility

Are the seats open or reserved?

All seats will be reserved.

What are the seating options?

There are three seating options:

  • VIP Premium (closest to the stage)
  • Paid Premium
  • Regular


What is the difference between Regular, Premium, and VIP Premium seating?

Regular and Premium seating options are open to everyone, with Premium offering closer seating locations at a higher cost. VIP Premium seating is reserved for specific BHS members and supporters, such as District Presidents, Board Members, and Hall of Fame members.

How is VIP seating assigned?

VIP Premium seating will be assigned by BHS staff in January 2025. A number of factors are considered when assigning seats, including what each individual has listed as their preference.

For Regular and Paid Premium seating, attendees will select their seats during the registration process.

Is there ADA seating available at the venue?

Yes, flexible seating for wheelchairs or guests of ADA attendees is available and should be selected when purchasing your registration. Venue staff will assist on-site.

What is the schedule for the 2025 Midwinter Convention?

The tentative schedule is as follows:

  • Wednesday: Meetings and Event Preparation

  • Thursday: Registration opens at 9 AM, Keynote Address, Next Generation Jr. Quartet Contest, Evening Show, Afterglow

  • Friday: Chorus Festival, Evening Show, Afterglow

  • Saturday: Seniors Quartet Championship, Evening Show, Afterglow

Can I expect the BHS Marketplace during the convention?

Yes, the BHS marketplace will be located at the HQ Hotel offering various items for sale.

Venue & Hotel

Where is the headquarters hotel for the 2025 Midwinter Convention?

The headquarters hotel is the San Antonio Marriott Riverwalk, located at 889 E Market Street, San Antonio, TX 78205.

How can I book or change my hotel reservation?

You can book or make changes to your hotel reservation through the provided reservation link. BHS customer service does not have access to your reservation records, so please utilize the reservation link for any changes.

Is there a convention rate for hotel reservations?

Yes, the convention rate starts at $199 per night with upgrade options available. This rate applies only to reservations made through the official reservation link.

Is there parking available at the headquarters hotel or venue?

Information about parking availability at the headquarters hotel or venue will be provided closer to the event.

Are food and beverages allowed in the venue?

No outside food & beverage is permitted.

Information for Children Attending

Can I bring my children to the convention?

Yes, children are welcome at the convention.

Will there be a Barbertots room available at the Midwinter Convention?

No, there will be no Barbertots room at the Midwinter Convention.

Are strollers permitted in the venue?

Strollers are permitted in the venue.

Miscellaneous

Are there any local discounts available for attendees?

No, there will not be a local discount for the 2025 Midwinter Convention.

Will there be an option to purchase photos from the event?
