FAQ
Why Dallas and Washington, DC?
Accessibility: Both cities are affordable travel hubs, meaning flights and accommodations are generally cost-effective. Free transportation options from airports to hotels add to their accessibility.
Pilot Locations: These two cities were chosen as pilot locations for leadership-focused events, aiming to gauge participation and logistical success before potentially expanding to more locations.
Why In Person?
Immersive Content: The content being delivered is immersive and considered too complex for a virtual format. The organization believes that a physical presence is necessary to ensure full engagement, especially when virtual options can lead to distractions.
Previous Success: Pre-pandemic, live events had a worthwhile level of participation from chapters. Despite the option for virtual alternatives, the organization anticipates that an in-person format will drive more meaningful engagement.
Test for Future Expansion: In-person events will allow the organization to pilot and gather feedback, which will inform whether or not they should expand to other cities or reevaluate the approach altogether.
