Here are the raw facts:
Last year, January 1, 2008 to April 15, 2008 we recruited 473 new members into the Society.
This year, January 1, 2009 to April 15, 2009 we recruited 647 new members.
Everyone say Hazzah!
Now, we need to keep this going. This puts us on a trend for a little over 2200 new members in 2009. That in itself is good, but we need 3,000 new members to meet our goal.
Answers to some of your questions include:
1) The average age of these recruits is 46 years of age
2) 79 are over 70
3) 177 are 25 and under
4) California leading the pack with 77 new
What do you see here in these numbers?
Here's what I see. I see 647 men who are experiencing something for the first time. No matter what their age, these are men who are yearning to learn... learn all about the music; learn all about their chapter; learn all about you, their riser mate; learn all they can, as quickly as they can. It is our collective job to teach them, nurture them and give them the greatest experience possible.
