Jeremey Brann, Blair Brown elected to Society Board of Directors
At its July 2019 meeting, the Barbershop Harmony Society Board of Directors elected two new members-at-large: Jeremy Brann of the Lexington Kentuckians Chorus and Blair Brown of the Double Date mixed quartet.
A rigorous application process brought forth 39 individuals nominated by district presidents, task force and committee members, and members themselves. Extensive interviews and active non-voting participation in Board discussions led to a final slate of five uniquely qualified individuals. When seated in January 2020, Brown will become the first woman to serve on the Society Board of Directors.
