Ozark Overtones named International Seniors Chorus Champions
A men's chorus centered in Springfield, Missouri, took top honors in the Barbershop Harmony Society’s 2020 International Seniors Quartet Contest, held January 10 in Jacksonville, Florida.
The 22-man Ozark Overtones, directed by Jeff Veteto, sang “Love's Old Sweet Song” and “Somethin' About Ya” to emerge victorious in the event, now in its second year. Seniors choruses consist of singers aged 55 or older; many are collaborative efforts of multiple chapters.
