Society Board of Directors meeting - December 10, 2023
Keller elected Executive Vice President
In its December meeting, the Barbershop Harmony Society Board of Directors elected Kevin Keller to the position of Executive Vice President. The seat had been vacated by Steve Denino upon his hiring as interim Chief Executive Officer. Keller will be seated immediately for a term running through 2024.
Keller brings more than three decades experience as a statistician and quality professional. He is an expert in change management, and a Certified Master Black Belt with over 25 years of project work in Lean Six Sigma. As a Barbershopper, he is widely known as a leading arranger, coach, quartetter, historian, and teacher, and past chair of the Society Contest and Judging Committee. In 2020, Keller was inducted into the BHS Hall of Fame.

Interested in how the Society locates, recruits, and selects its volunteer leaders? The Nominating Committee for 2024 has been appointed and will have further information in January. Generally speaking, applications are received in January through March, reviewed by the Committee and the District Presidents in April-May, and a slate presented to the Board in June for election in July.
