The Vocal Majority Chorus welcomed influential educators from across the country to Dallas for the national convention of the American Choral Directors Association. In this, its second appearance at a national ACDA, the VM brought its trademark showmanship and musical excellence, and impressed choral directors with the barbershop style.

“You’ll never forget your choir teachers,” Greg Clancy told the audience at the March 18 concert at the Winspear Opera House in downtown Dallas.

Greg added, “The indelible impact you make on the world is greater than you will ever know.”

The message resonated with ACDA attendees, as they gave the chorus multiple standing ovations and rushed to greet the men of the Vocal Majority after the performance.

The Vocal Majority was involved in earlier BHS outreach to the ACDA in 2009 and has participated in regional ACDA events over the years.

The audience of over 2,000 music educators is visiting Dallas from around the globe. The VM headlined the Opening Ceremonies, also featuring The Turtle Creek Chorale, The Greater Dallas Choral Society for Children and Youth, and St. Johns Music Ministry.
